Our Founder

Late Ram Lot Sharma was born in 1930 in a village of Pakrichauhan, District Basti of Uttar Pradesh. At the age of 16, he came to Kolkata and joined as an employee in a company engaged in manufacturing of plastic game and toys. He was friendly, self confident, optimistic and without envy. He laid more emphasis on "We" than "I". As a natural corollary of this, custom and convention are extremely strong, and there is much more uniformity both in outlook on life and aesthetic ideas. He had a great liking for children. He believed that man should be respected as an individual and not idolized.

Later he started his own manufacturing unit in plastic games and toys with just some items. Today his organization - Bharat Plastic Industries is manufacturing more than 500 Items in Games and Toys for children and are sold throughout the country. He was a great visionary and had a thorough knowledge about the products manufactured. There are only a few enlightened people with a lucid mind and style and with good taste. He had acquired understanding of feeling for values. He had acquired a vivid sense of the beautiful and of the morally good. He understood the motives of the human beings, their illusions and their sufferings in order to acquire a proper relationship to individual fellow-men and to the community.

His success rested simply on the convincing power of his personality, a man of wisdom and humility armed with resolve and inflexible consistency, who had devoted all his strength to the uplifting of his people and the betterment of their families. Many a times he never hesitated in donating large sum of money for the down trodden and less fortunate brethren of the society. He had donated the games and toys and other products of his manufacture for the poor street children on various occasions. He left for his heavenly abode at the age of 74. Now his two sons- Mr. Satyadev Sharma And Mr. Vikash Kumar Sharma are carrying the legacy forward.

Behind every achievement exists the motivation which is at the foundation of it and which in turn is strengthened and nourished by the accomplishment of the undertaking.
